Editing your profile

I hope that you are happy with the Association’s website. As well as offering additional functionality, such as the forums, the site also allows you to improve your online security by setting your own password. You must ensure that you set a ‘strong’ password by using a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters.

Hover your cursor over the ‘Hello’ box in the top right corner, and you will get a drop-down menu which includes ‘edit your profile’. You can change your password in this menu – click on ‘generate new password’, then change the generated password to one of your own choosing (but please ensure that it shows as a ‘strong’ password) before saving the changes using the update button.

You can also receive automatic updates by using the RSS button – click on the button to take you to the page where you can set up the feed.

If you have any problems or suggestions, please contact me via the ‘contact us’ form.

Welcome to the AAME website

The website is aimed at everyone with an interest in aviation medicine, not just for AAME members.  If you have any suggestions to improve the website, such as additional features, please contact the webmaster.

If you are a member of the Association and can’t access the members’ pages, contact me using the contact form and I will send your username and password by email.

Please try out the forums – there is a public forum open to everyone and a members’ only forum accessible only to AAME members.

Also, if you have any images that you are able to share with us – either of AAME events or of general aviation interest, please send them to us and we’ll load them in the gallery. Only send images that you’ve taken yourself or where are able to confirm that the owner of the image has consented to it being posted. Send them with a caption or I’ll make one up – each caption will also include the owner’s name, unless you ask for it to be anonymous. The best images will be selected for use in the website header image.
